At 36, like most people, I was focusing on raising my children and building a career when I received devastating news that my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and only had a little over 6 months to live. Several months later while assisting in caring for my mother, I found out that I too had breast cancer. A couple of months after my diagnosis, my sister was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. All in the same year! I was assisting in caring for my dying mother, sister, and staying strong as a mother, wife, daughter, and sister while fighting one of the hardest battles of my life. Just when I was starting to live life again, my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. When I was going through the storm, it was hard to fathom ever being on the other side. In this book, you will read about the importance of keeping the faith in the midst of the storm. Knowing that God was in control kept me pushing when I was weak.
