Table for One tells the story of a multiracial woman born towards the end of the Vietnam War, abandoned by her family and adopted by foreigners to be raised in a small New England town, where she felt out of place. As everything she ever valued begins to slip away (home, happiness, motivation and career), she stops and asks herself, why am I experiencing this and how can I change it?
