Do American children know about their roots? Where did their parents come from? Do they know about the other world outside America and how other children live, feel, and what are their dreams?
My book tells a story about a little girl named Maryam, she is 9 years old, lives in Africa with her parents. They decided to visit her cousins in America, for Christmas and the New Year holiday. Her aunt had lived in America for a long time with her family, her husband, and three kids, but they never came back home since they left.
The ultimate wish that Maryam’s wanted was for her to meet Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. Maryam’s friends were pleased with her and asked Santa to bring them gifts.
